How live dealer games work

A live dealer game is a real table in a studio, filmed by several cameras and streamed to your device. The dealer handles physical cards, a real roulette wheel or a real shoe; the software reads the result and settles the bets. Nothing on the table is simulated, and the outcome is decided by the physical round rather than by a random number generator.

Placing a bet

Each round runs on a timer. During the betting window you choose a chip value and place it on the part of the layout you want to back — a number or section on roulette, a betting box in blackjack, or Player, Banker or Tie in baccarat. You can add chips, undo the last one, repeat the previous bet or clear the table until the window closes.

When the dealer announces that betting is closed, no further bets are accepted for that round. The round is dealt or spun on camera, the result is displayed, and winning bets are paid according to the table's published rules. The next betting window then opens.

Practical notes

• Each table shows its minimum and maximum stake before you join. Seats on some tables are limited; you can usually still bet behind another player's hand.
• A stable connection matters. If the stream drops mid-round, the round still resolves on the table and is settled to your account when the connection returns.
• Live chat with the dealer is moderated. Rules on courtesy and conduct in the Terms and Conditions apply.
• Live tables run in real time, which makes it easy to lose track of how long you have played. A session time limit in Player Controls is a good idea.
